Someone saw our original barrel shroud design (X-1) and mentioned that they would prefer a CQB version. So… our designer got to work and the result is the X-3 (the X-2 will eventually see wider release, there are only 2 out in the wild). Known as the LUB (Little Ugly B****rd) it barrel shroud designed around CQB builds. Designed around the barrel collet found on Printables by Kpt Autismus, the X-3 will only work with the narrower barrel collet. That file may be printed for free and is available via Printables. Please note, that if you do not have that collet, this shroud will not fit. Because of this, we will include the option to have the collet printed for you at no extra charge (yes, we reached out to Autismus and we have his blessing).
In case you’re wondering, the LUB derives its name from an adorably ugly Pug owend by one of our neighbors that came by to play with one of our pups while we were working on this design.
Due to the design of the X-3 we are unable to provide AMS multicolor printing. Lead times will vary depending on the color chosen and their availability in inventory.
