Dart Zone Vector Pro Body Kit
A friction fit body kit that adds some cosmetic adjustments and quality of life improvements to the Dart Zone Vector Pro.
When we first saw the side profile of the first bullpup flywheel blaster from Dart Zone, our proverbial tails started to wag. An out-of-the-box pro-Rayven? Yes please! Then we saw the face of the blaster and were like… “ew, brother, ew, yuck!” A sentiment that was shared by many in the hobby community. Normatico (Secondhand Blasters) was determined to change that and went straight to work.
“My goal was to make a muzzle that could just slip in without needing to replace any part of the blaster; something that screamed sci-fi without stealing away from the vortex theme the blaster had going for it. It needed side rails and some sort of beak that allowed for darts to fly freely out without the bcar. I also was determined to ensure the “hood” could still hinge open.” He stated when asked what he was going for with the design. The end result was the Mk. 1.5 muzzle included with the body kit.
Featuring a tri-rail design, the muzzle allows for the use of a side mounted camera, mag holder or any other side mounted device in addition to a fore grip (mini caliburn afg included with kit). Of course, nothing is stopping you from attaching a pico booper instead. The design is fitted in such a way that it should not affect maintenance on the blaster internals and should not restrict the ability to remove screws and open up the blaster for internal modifications.
Once fitted, it is recommended that a little adhesive (we prefer gorilla glue) be used to attach the rail to the main body of the blaster, especially if they will be used with a heavier attachment. This will help to distribute the weight and reduce stress on the part.
In addition to the muzzle, the kit comes with a custom designed buttstock that was made specifically for this blaster, giving it the right length to be properly shouldered by an adult while maintaining its cqb form.
BONUS-
After a nice conversation with Ghost Manta, we have procured permission to include a make-shift thumbscrew for the battery door utilizing a simple m3 screw. A truly genius design that avoids having to spend needless money on thumbscrews!
Special thanks to BotsnBlasters for design input.
