With the second iteration of the stalwart pro blaster by Dart Zone hitting the store shelves, we were able to see what “minor changes” were made to one of our most favorite big box springers.
Right away we saw some quality of life improvements were needed to make the blaster more competitive against its counterparts.
The buttstock seemed to rattle a little when extended, the angled fore grip felt small and was unforgiving with tougher spring loads and the iron sites sat too low for comfortable use for those trained with real-steel armaments.
We got to work designing and created our Special Blaster Tactics kit that includes an upgraded adjustable buffer-tube butt-stock, a 1 ½ inch rail riser that doubles as a carry handle, a slightly angled vertical drop priming grip with pistol grip ergonomics, elevated iron sites and a AK-inspired hotswap collet system that allows you to store your pcar in the “gas out”, a spring spacer and a set of adjustable iron sites
